Craft Fairs Galore!
On August 13, 2023, I started my journey selling artwork in person at craft and vendor fairs. Since that summer day, I have worked 7 fairs (with 6 more already scheduled), and I have grown so much! I have met so many lovely people, expanded my product lineup and made at least a few dollars. ;)
I’m working with Artique, a small shop in my area! You can now buy my work in person in Albany, NY.
I am extremely happy to announce that I have secured a spot at one of my favorite local gift shops! My space is open and ready for visitors. There, you will find coloring books, cat keychains, leaf pins, framed art prints, stickers, and more! I hope to constantly be adding to and updating my space. This is what the space looks like now, as of November 18, 2023.
I won a contest and my idea got turned into a silk screen print!
Glass Ink Dip Pen
I recently purchased a glass ink dip pen, and I’ve been experimenting with it. Most of my sketches so far have been of the botanical variety!
I published a coloring book!
Leaf the Coloring to Me is a highly detailed botanical coloring book for all ages. Grab your favorite colored pencils, markers, or crayons, and get ready to relax with this charming coloring book. Enjoy hours of calm and relaxation with more than 40 highly detailed illustrations.
Leaf and flower preservation
I collect leaves and flowers (mostly leaves). I started in Spring of 2022 by taping leaves into my sketchbooks. That was fun, but I eventually decided that I wanted to preserve my leaves in a way that was easier to share with others. So in September, I started laminating pages of leaves and adding them to a binder.
Weaving
I asked for a loom for Christmas, and I’ve been slowly learning to weave ever since!
Handmade Stamps
I am learning to make handmade stamps! I’m using a speedball linoleum cutting tool on erasers. I plan to use actual printing blocks in the future, but the erasers are working well for now.
